WASHINGTON (DTN) -- House and Senate agriculture leaders and their staffs appear to be wrapping up the final details of the farm bill Monday, with plans to release the bill later Monday and a vote on it Wednesday morning in the House of Representatives.

There have been no official announcements about the contents of the bill, but it is expected the bill will be posted online late Monday afternoon or early evening, and the House Rules Committee will meet about it. For that to happen, a majority of conferees in the House and Senate would have to sign it.
