FDA ASKED TO BAN ON ANTIBIOTICS IN DISTILLERS GRAINS WITH SOLUBLES

A petition filed by the Center for Food Safety and the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy claims that the presence of antibiotics in distillers gains with solubles (DGS) is "wholly illegal," and calls for the Food and Drug Administration to ban the use of antibiotics in ethanol production when DGS, the byproduct of the process, is sold as livestock feed.
