Proposed House Tax Reform Bill Would Retain Cash Accounting for All Farms

The tax reform package released this week by House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp, D-Mich., dropped a provision that would have required all business –– including farms –– that have gross receipts of more than $10 million use the accrual, rather than the cash method of accounting.
