U.S., Japan Can't Resolve Positions on Trade in Automobiles, Rice

U.S. and Japanese officials ended bilateral Trans-Pacific Partnership talks last week short of reaching agreement, with the two sides remaining divided over U.S. demands for Japan to abolish its agriculture tariffs and Tokyo's demand that the U.S. abolish tariffs on cars and trucks.
