Russian Crop Insurance Industry Sees Much to Like in U.S. Farm Bill

Russia's crop insurance industry, represented by the Russian National Agroinsurers Union, says its members believe the U.S Congress did the right thing in changing support for U.S. farmers from direct payments to federal crop and revenue insurance. In fact, they like the transition so much that they are calling for a similar program in their own country.
