Questions Remain About Administration's Commitment to Trade Deals

Earlier this month, the Senate Finance Committee held a hearing to discuss fast-track trade legislation, but missing from the witness table was U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman, the person who is tasked with overseeing the administration trade policies. In fact, the White House chose not to send any administration official to the hearing, an oversight upon which ranking minority member Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, took time to comment.
