Energy Reports Fall Victim to Government Shutdown

The Energy Department's Energy Information Administration has furloughed its staff -- effective last Friday -- as a result of the government shutdown. This means EIA's energy information reports, which are used in policymaking and provide analysis on economic data, will not be published, and the EIA website and social media accounts will not be updated until the agency's funding is restored.
