Peterson: Obama Would Veto Farm Bill Extension

USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack told Rep. Collin Peterson, D-Minn., that President Barack Obama would veto an extension of the current farm bill because the current law does not fund several programs the White House considers critical, according to the ranking member of the House Ag Committee.

Vilsack said Obama has "very, very strong objections to an extension," Peterson said.
