European Commission Gives Green Light to Trade Talks with U.S.

The European Commission this week decided to allow negotiations on the U.S.-European Union Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) to get underway on schedule next week in spite of allegations that the U.S. National Security Agency spied on EU institutions.
