House Farm Bill Likely to Contain Provision to Rein in EPA

The House may take up its version of the farm bill this week, legislation that in addition to reforming agricultural support programs also would impose new restrictions on Environmental Protection Agency regulations that affect agriculture. The goal is to reduce burdens faced by farmers from EPA regulatory actions.
