Biotech Waiver Unlikely to be Renewed for Fiscal 2014

The continuing resolution that is funding the Agriculture Department for the remainder of the current fiscal year contains a policy rider that requires USDA to approve the sale and use of genetically-engineered seeds even if a court has determined the environmental analysis conducted for the seed is inadequate.
