Canada May Barter Its Dairy Barriers for Trade Agreement with Europe

European Union Trade Commissioner Karel de Gucht is in Canada this week for discussions aimed at moving forward a proposed bilateral trade agreement. The two sides have been negotiating the possible free trade agreement for months, and as with many international trade talks, progress has been slowed due to concerns that involve mainly agriculture.
