GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are mixed Wednesday morning with moderate gains holding in lean hog futures, while light to moderate pressure in feeder cattle futures continues to limit buying interest in the live cattle complex. Corn futures are higher at midday. March corn futures are 1 cent per bushel higher. Stock markets are lower in light trade. The Dow Jones is 3 points lower while Nasdaq is down 14 points.
