DTN Midday Livestock Comments

Livestock futures are trading mixed in light morning trade. The support in cattle complex is based more on positioning after recent losses earlier in the week. Lean hog futures are mixed to mostly lower. Losses have been limited as traders do not expect aggressive end-of-the-week fundamental pressure. Corn futures are higher at midday. December corn futures are 3 cents per bushel higher. Stock markets are higher in light trade. The Dow Jones is 83 points higher while Nasdaq is up 33 points.
