We are all familiar with the Greek mythology tale of Achilles. While a baby, his mother fearing his death later in life, held him by the heel and dipped him in the River Styx in order to provide his body protection. However, the heel she held onto was unprotected, an error that would ultimately lead to his death. During battle, Achilles was shot in that very heel by a poisoned arrow.
