General Comments:

Corn closed up 3 1/4 cents in the September and up 2 1/2 cents in the December. Soybeans closed up 29 3/4 cents in the September and up 3 3/4 cents in the November. Wheat closed 5 3/4 cents higher in the September Chicago, 11 1/2 cents higher in the September Kansas City, and 12 cents higher in the September Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is .18 higher at 82.39. December gold is up $5.80 at $1,281.20 while September silver is down .01 and September copper is up $0.0295.
