Morning CME Globex Update: July corn is up 2 1/4 cents, July soybeans are up 4 3/4 cents, and July Chicago wheat is up 3 1/2 cents. At 8 a.m., USDA announced that China bought 120,000 tons (4.7 mb) of new-crop soybeans and another 210,000 tons (8.3 mb) were sold to unknown destinations. Old-crop soybeans continue to show active demand ahead of the Memorial Day holiday and may finish the week with a new contract high. Corn and wheat are also trading higher, finding support near their 200-day averages after a week of trading lower.
