DTN Before The Bell Grain Comments

Morning CME Globex Update:While old-crop soybean futures continue to churn higher, the rest of the grain and oilseed futures markets have started the Wednesday session more calmly alongside tentative outside markets.

Other Markets:

Dow Jones: Higher
U.S. Dollar Index: Higher
Gold: Lower
Crude Oil: Higher

Corn: Outside markets aren’t particularly supportive to grains Wednesday morning, and the corn market correspondingly isn’t moving in a particularly bullish manner. Crude oil is back above $100 per barrel, but the low volume of trade in corn this week may suggest there won’t be a lot of spillover commodity-wide buying interest. Nearby old-crop contracts ...
