General Comments

U.S. stock market indices are firmer at midday with Dow futures up 50. Interest rate products are lower. The dollar index is 9 higher. Energies are higher with crude up .62. Livestock trade is lower. Precious metals are lower with gold down $3.

Corn futures are 1 to 3 cents higher at midday with outside markets neutral to slightly negative. July corn continues to hold just above the 100-day and 200-day moving averages, both around $4.72 1/2. The 10-day moving average is first resistance at $4.84.
