Illinois River to Crest Thursday
The U.S. Coast Guard shut down large sections of the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers to barge traffic due to high water that's caused more than 100 barges to break loose of their moorings. The Illinois River is expected to crest above its record highs set in 1943.[Read Full Blog Post]
