I went to the Web Site above. Look at the Organizations on this list. They SAY the 2012 Farm Bill will benefit Farmers-a given, that 98% of Family Farmers want a Farm Bill-D'uh...but does this Farm Bill actually support those Family Farms? Not nearly as much as the Factory Farms and COFA Livestock Producers, which in turn subsidizes the work of this certain sector of big Agriculture. The Bill in question needs to offer more for Small and Family Farmers, needs to offer more for Rural Development, and needs to create infrastructure and Market opportunities for ALL Farmers. As is, it just doesn't cut it, which begs the question-why DO these organizations want it "slam-dunked" as is?

Farm bill is lobbied by and built for corporate America, has only killed the "family" farm in the past 20 years. I suspect the GOP wants the convention and maybe the election out of the way before they do something that smells like "socialism"!

There is 0 percent chance that a farm bill will be law before the election. Politicians care about only one thing....reelection.
