Argo, NYH Spot Ethanol Prices Little Changed in Thin Trade

Spot ethanol prices in Chicago and New York were little changed in thin trade Thursday, with trade sources saying the market was oversold after concerns about rising supply recently led to a selloff.

A trader said today transfer ethanol at Argo hub near Chicago traded at $2.19 per gallon, little changed from yesterday when trades there were reported between $2.1725 and $2.20 per gallon.

June New York Harbor ethanol barge was talked at a $2.19 to $2.20 per gallon bid/ask, down 1.5 cents, while July N.Y. Harbor ethanol traded at $2.20 per gallon, down 1.0 cent.
