New York, Argo Spot Ethanol Prices Ease with RBOB Futures

Spot ethanol prices at the New York Harbor and at the Argo terminal near Chicago were discussed lower in a thin early trade session Thursday, pressured by a broad-based selloff in commodities such as gasoline. Still, supply remains tight based on federal data Wednesday. "The crush is getting hit again today and imports will make things worse," said a sell-side ethanol trader based in the Midwest. "Overall, crowded markets (lead to) profit-taking," said a trade source based in New York.
