Insurers Prep for Aflatoxin Outbreak

Crop Insurance will not take samples from on farm storage for aflatoxin.Samples must be taken from the combine in the field or from check strips in the field.

Two years ago everyone around here got big money for claims that were bin samples. Did they change the way to take samples? Because after settlements were made guys hauled to elevators with little or no discounts.

My mistake that was for vomitoxin.But still not very good management on the goverments behalf.
