Update: So maybe the minor (short-term) trend is actually down in March soybeans. the contract easily fell through support at $12.86 1/4 Thursday and is now targeting support between $12.73 3/4 and $12.68 1/2. These prices mark the 61.8% and 67% retracement levels of the previous uptrend discussed in the blog.

As we plan for 2014 crops what has more potential, corn with its better yield potential, thus higher gross or soybeans with its stronger global demand and maybe a better realative price. Which would you favour on your farm? Push the rotation in favour of soybeans or steady as it goes?
